Heartsaver Instructor Course Overview
The Heartsaver Instructor Course is designed to equip instructors with the necessary skills and knowledge to teach Heartsaver courses provided by organizations such as the American Heart Association (AHA) and the Red Cross. This course focuses on basic life support skills and emergency response techniques.
Course Objectives
Understand the role of an instructor in teaching Heartsaver courses.
Learn how to effectively deliver course content and engage participants.
Master the skills necessary to teach CPR, AED use, and first aid.
Gain knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional strategies.
Become familiar with the AHA and Red Cross guidelines and materials.
Course Requirements
Current Heartsaver certification or equivalent experience.
Completion of the instructor candidate application.
Attendance in a designated instructor course.

Certification
